Tottenham Hotspur have handed three young players new contracts, and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are overjoyed with the news.

Spurs have confirmed that the English trio of Luke Amos, Timothy Eyoma and Oliver Skipp have all signed fresh deals to remain with the club until 2021.

The North London club have tied down the immediate futures of three stars to come out of the academy and will hope they can go on to become first-team players under Mauricio Pochettino.

Amos, 21, is a central midfielder who has spent time out on loan with Southend United and Stevenage, but has remained with Spurs this season.

He featured as a late substitute in the 2-1 win over Newcastle United on the opening day of the Premier League this season and will hope for more senior action in due course.

Eyoma is an 18-year-old right-back who has been a regular for Spurs at youth level and is still waiting to make his first-team debut.

Meanwhile, Skipp is the third player to sign a new deal and the central midfielder is extremely highly-rated.
