Some Leeds United fans are hoping that the club's final signing of the transfer window will be Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown.
The Yorkshire Evening Post yesterday reported Leeds are targeting one more player, an attacker who can cover for Samu Saiz.
Exciting England under-21 international Brown fits the bill, and by a stroke of coincidence, the youngster yesterday posted on Twitter for the first time since early May.
Finally back on Twitter!— Isaiah Brown (@izzyjaybrown) August 27, 2018
Could this be a sign that Brown is gearing up to re-focus and clinch a loan move before Friday's deadline?
For context, Brown has been out of action all year since suffering a knee injury in early January.
At the end of last week, Goal reported Brown is attempting to secure a loan move away from Chelsea at present.
Two years ago he helped Huddersfield win promotion, and last week was playing a role at Brighton in the Premier League before his injury.
A step down to the Championship would be wise, and as cover for Saiz, he would not be required immediately, good news considering his return from injury, but being at Elland Road would give both club and player fresh options.
At Leeds he could join fellow Chelsea loanees Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker.
Leeds fans responded to Brown's message by encouraging him to join them...
