Blackburn Rovers have been linked with Queens Park Rangers’ Idrissa Sylla.

According to Sky Sports, Blackburn Rovers have made an approach to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Idrissa Sylla on loan.
The report claims the Guinean international is potentially available after QPR boss Steve McClaren bolstered his side’s forward options with the additions of Nakhi Wells and Tomer Hemed on loan this week.
Sylla, 27, joined QPR from Anderlecht in the summer of 2016 on a three-year deal and enjoyed a successful opening campaign at Loftus Road, netting 10 goals in 32 Championship games.
Last season, however, he played less frequently and managed to find the net on just four occasions in all competitions, raising questions over his future this summer.
McClaren has yet to call upon the player this season, and after strengthening his side over the past week it seems Sylla will be cast aside with his contract expiring in 12 months’ time.
Blackburn are currently enjoying a solid start to their return to the Championship, going undefeated in their opening four league games as they sit in ninth place in the table.

Boss Tony Mowbray did manage to bring in another forward in Adam Armstrong this summer, but perhaps feels Sylla’s height (6ft 2inch) and physicality would bring his side a new dimension up top.
The former Anderlecht man still has plenty to offer at Championship level and with his contract expiring next summer, perhaps Rovers will look to sign him permanently on the cheap after an initial loan deal.
