Celtic star Bitton has been sidelined since February 3.

Celtic ace Nir Bitton has delivered a positive update on Instagram as he continues to work hard to overcome the long-term knee injury he suffered earlier this year.
The 26-year-old was forced to undergo surgery to correct an issue in his knee, last pulling on the green and white of Celtic back on February 3 during the Scottish champions’ 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock.
Celtic have struggled at centre-back this season and although the Israel international is predominantly a central midfielder, his return could help ease Brendan Rodgers’ woes at the heart of his defence.
He posted on his Instagram story a video of him doing gym work, along with the caption “six months out, not long now”, as he builds up the strength lost during his time on the sidelines.

Joining Celtic in the summer of 2013, Bitton has gone on to make 171 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops – winning five Scottish Premiership medals, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups.
However, his long-term future remains a slight doubt at Parkhead, with two years remaining on his current contract which is worth £12,000 a week (Daily Star). He will be working hard to show that he deserves a new deal before next summer, or face entering his final 12 months at Celtic.
