The Malaysian recently stepped down as Queens Park Rangers' co-chairman.
Fernandes stepped down as QPR co-chairman earlier this month, alongside Ruben Gnanalingam, allowing Amit Bhatia to step up.
But the Malaysian, it seems, remains tuned in to events at Loftus Road - where the R's suffered their fourth defeat from four in the league against Bristol City on Tuesday - 'liking' and subsequently 'unliking' the following tweet from QPRnet:
Afterwards, the QPR fan site tweeted:
Why would @tonyfernandes like a tweet basically saying we are in all sort of trouble and Wigan can’t wait to play us. Very, very odd.— QPRnet (@qprnet) August 21, 2018
It goes without saying that QPR currently prop up the Championship, as one of only two teams, alongside Reading, yet to earn a single point this season.
And there is already speculation that Steve McClaren's job could be on the line, just three months after he succeeded Ian Holloway as manager.
Wigan, meanwhile, are 14th in the standings, but could occupy a play-off place by the time they visit Loftus Road, with a trip to Stoke City up first on Wednesday.
