The Rangers youngster has reportedly been told by Steven Gerrard that he would be best served leaving Ibrox on loan.

Rangers fans are reacting on Twitter to reports Myles Beerman is leaving Ibrox on loan.

The Times of Malta has reported an agreement is in place between Birkirkara, Beerman and Rangers which will see the 19-year-old return to his homeland on a temporary basis.

And it is claimed that Beerman is expected to arrive back in Malta this midweek.

The former Manchester City youngster signed a new one-year deal with Rangers as recently as May, but was immediately told by Steven Gerrard, the newly-appointed Rangers manager, that he would be best served leaving Ibrox on loan, according to the Times of Malta.

This is what those of a Rangers persuasion are saying about the potential loss of Beerman, who has played eight times for the Gers’ first team…

Beerman spent the second half of last season on loan to Queen of the South, and had interest from other Scottish Championship sides before settling on Birkirkara.

Can Beerman have a future at Rangers?
