Rangers and Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation regarding the future of Ross McCormack.
Ibrox club Rangers are interested in signing McCormack from Villa in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
It has been reported that Steven Gerrard’s side are keen on securing the services of the former Leeds United striker on loan this summer.
The Villans have reportedly told McCormack to try to find a loan move this month and will cover almost all of his £40,000-a-week salary.
McCormack started his professional club football career at Rangers, but the 31-year-old Scotland international could not make a massive impact during his time at Ibrox.
The Scotsman went on to star for Cardiff City, Leeds and Fulham, but the striker has struggled during his time at Villa so far.

No judging the player, but those are massive wages for us at this point in time. #RangersFC Reported Ross McCormack return could transform Rangers into title contenders https://t.co/1cAux88Tun via @HITCsport— CRoss (@crrossy99) August 20, 2018
Did he not claim allegiance to Celtic after leaving Rangers? I would give it a miss and go for Jones. Great feet and balance and loves the teddybears.— Halfwaybear (@Halfwaybear) August 20, 2018
Absolutely no. Fallen out with multiple managers has a reputation of being difficult in the dressing room, seem like the exact opposite kind of character SG would be looking at.— Euan P (@proff1112) August 20, 2018
