Celtic have turned down an offer of €15 million (£13.44m) from FC Porto for Olivier Ntcham, according to Goal.com France.

It has been reported that Celtic want to keep hold of Ntcham, but the former Manchester City prospect is claimed to be open to moving to Portuguese giants Porto.

Discussions between the midfielder’s representatives and Celtic will take place in the coming hours, according to the report, which also claims that Porto plan to wrap up the signing of the 22-year-old no later than next week.

Earlier today, The Daily Record reported that Celtic have told Ntcham that he will not be sold in the summer transfer window.

Future uncertain

Ntcham has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Manchester City for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4.5 million.

The midfielder has established himself as an important player for the Hoops, and his departure would be a blow to the Glasgow giants.

Celtic have already been knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers and lost in the Scottish Premiership last weekend.
