Scouts from Premier League outfit Liverpool have been reportedly watching the Ajax youngster Ki-Jana Hoever of late.

You could make the case now that Liverpool’s starting XI is the strongest in the Premier League. But while huge sums have been invested in the likes of Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Naby Keita, Liverpool are not forgetting their obligation to think long-term too.
The Reds have snapped up two of the most exciting youngsters in England this summer – and from domestic rivals too. Bobby Duncan, the 17-year-old cousin of Steven Gerrard arrived from Manchester City with Isaac Christie-Davies upping sticks from Chelsea.
And it would be little surprise if Ki-Jana Hoever was a Liverpool player before long.
According to the Liverpool Echo, The Reds’ scouts have been very impressed with the Dutch U16 international, a right-back who can also play at centre-half.

And latest reports from Ajax Showtime suggest that Hoever could now be within their grasp. It has been claimed that the teenager has decided to leave the Amsterdam giants, though it is uncertain where he will go next.
You could imagine however that Liverpool will be at the front of the queue.
Hoever has been at Ajax since moving from AZ Alkmaar in 2014. Though if he moves to Liverpool, he could soon be competing against two very highly-rated right-backs, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.
