Celtic and Torino reportedly want to sign Manchester City defender Jason Denayer in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this month, The Scottish Sun claimed that Celtic are interested in signing Jason Denayer from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that the Scottish Premiership giants were monitoring the situation of Denayer and were considering making a move for the 23-year-old central defender.
Good for Celtic
The Belgium international, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Celtic from Premier League giants City.
With the future of Dedryck Boyata wrapped up in uncertainty - according to The Daily Record, Sevilla and Lazio are interested in Belgium international central defender, with his agent also criticising Celtic for turning down offers for him earlier this summer, as quoted in The Daily Mail - Denayer would be a suitable replacement.
However, Celtic are reportedly facing competition for the services of Denayer - who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Competition for Celtic
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Italian club Torino are interested in the central defender and have contacted City regarding a loan move.
Torino finished ninth in Serie A last season and are an ambitious club, and the Italian league is also much better and more competitive than the Scottish Premiership.
Denayer could well find Torino more tempting than Celtic, especially if the Hoops fail to progress to the group stage of the Champions League this season.
