Alexander-Arnold has since returned to Merseyside, and now he seems prepared for the upcoming campaign which starts this weekend as Liverpool host West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds are widely regarded as the favourites to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season, and many feel they now have the tools to end their long wait for England’s number one trophy.

As for Alexander-Arnold, he will be hoping to consolidate himself in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans and impressive club form could edge him closer to a regular spot for the England national team.
