Gary Lineker has stated on social networking site Twitter that Richarlison has been a bargain signing for Watford at £40 million.
Richarlison was the star of the show for the Toffees, as the winger scored both the goals for the Merseyside outfit at the Molineux Stadium.
The 21-year-old Brazilian winger - who joined Everton from Premier League rivals Watford in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £40 million - scored first in the 17th minute and then on 67 minutes.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker Lineker was following the match, and he stated on Twitter that Richarlison is a bargain at £40m.
10 man Everton (why is it 10 man and not 10 men?) take the lead at Wolves. Both goals scored by Richarlison, a bargain at £40m.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) August 11, 2018
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday evening, visitors Everton had 43% of the possession, took six shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
