Sheffield United's surprise decision to send Lee Evans to Wigan Athletic on an initial loan deal that will become permanent in January has got some Blades fans wondering whether a Brighton and Hove Albion player could arrive as the Welshman's replacement.
Oliver Norwood was said to be interesting several Championship clubs ahead of Thursday's deadline for permanent transfers, including United's Yorkshire rivals Leeds and Hull - although the Argus reported yesterday that the Brighton midfielder was likely to join a mystery second tier outfit instead.
And while Norwood remained a Seagulls player after the window closed, the Northern Irishman could still be on the move this month, albeit on loan initially, as was the case with Evans.
Part of the Brighton and Fulham sides promoted in 2017 and 2018 respectively, Norwood also played under Alan Knill, the Sheffield United assistant manager at Scunthorpe.
A move to Bramall Lane is certainly plausible then, as the following Blades fans agree...

Lets see if Norwood or Juanpi arrive to replace Evans then, be strange to let him go-no matter how shit he is without something lined up #twitterblades— Ben G (@ben_1982) 10 August 2018
