The departure of Aston Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer on loan has not gone down well with fans.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer has departed the club on loan, and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter voiced their anger towards the move.
The Midlands club confirmed on Friday that the 25-year-old has joined League One outfit Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan.
The shot-stopper started the first game of the Championship season and helped his side earn a 3-1 win away at Hull City.
However, manager Steve Bruce has decided to offload him on a temporary basis and he will now look to play regular football in League One.
Steer has been on the books at Villa since 2013 and had a number of loan spells during his career, meaning he has only made nine first-team appearances for the club.
Villa will now turn to Orjan Nyland and Andre Moreira as options in goal for the new campaign, where they will be looking to go one better than last season’s defeat to Fulham in the play-off final.

A selection of Villa fans on social media believe that the decision to offload Steer is a harsh one.
