Stoke City and Huddersfield Town have already exchanged wingers this summer.
Stoke City’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has turned down a move to Huddersfield Town, according to the Daily Mail's live blog (Thursday 9th August, 10:55).
The newspaper claims Choupo-Moting is hoping to land a bigger move than Huddersfield - despite seeing one of his former Stoke teammates, Ramadan Sobhi, head to the Terriers earlier in the window.
It adds that Stoke are happy to allow the Cameroonian to leave this summer, along with Charlie Adam and Gianelli Imbula, but may have to wait until after the close of the Premier League's transfer window at 5pm today.
And after five goals and five assists for Stoke in the league last season, there should be no shortage of Choupo-Moting suitors.
Huddersfield allowed Tom Ince to leave for Stoke earlier in the window, while another winger, Sean Scannell, has signed for Bradford City.
However, it remains to be seen whether Huddersfield will re-enter the market for a Choupo-Moting alternative.
Huddersfield fans - would you be disappointed not to sign Choupo-Moting?
