Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is expected to add Mo Besic of Everton to his squad by the end of today.

According to the Daily Telegraph’s live blog (08:30, 9th August), Everton midfielder Mo Besic is now likely to finish today as a Leeds United player.

Leeds have been linked with Besic throughout the past week, although it was initially thought that he could be brought to Elland Road on loan.

However, the Telegraph are now expecting a £4.5 million deal for the Bosnian to go through today.

That capture would be an impressive one for Leeds, and Besic could slot perfectly into their midfield.

The Everton man is a bundle of energy, and his style looks ideal for Marcelo Bielsa to work with.

Besic impressed on loan in the Championship last season, after joining Middlesbrough in January.

If Besic does complete his move to Leeds later today, he will be in a battle with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich for a place in Bielsa’s midfield.
