Cardiff City and Middlesbrough are being credited with interest in the Derby County midfielder.

Neil Warnock has made Tom Huddlestone a top target for Cardiff City ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, while Middlesbrough could make a late move for the Derby County midfielder, according to the Sun.
Huddestone only returned to Derby from Hull in a £2 million deal last summer, but the newspaper reports that Cardiff believe they could succeed with a similar bid.
And it adds that while new boss Frank Lampard is desperate to keep Huddlestone at Derby, it may be difficult to deny the 31-year-old a return to the Premier League if an offer comes in from the Bluebirds.
Manager Warnock is said to want to add top flight experience to his side’s midfield ahead of their return to that level.

And Huddlestone has plenty of it, having spent 12 seasons at Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City between spells at Derby – only one of which was spent as a full-time Championship player.
Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis was linked with a move for Huddlestone while at former club West Bromwich Albion, again by the Sun.

But Derby would surely be reluctant to lose him to a likely promotion rival.
