Daniel Levy and Spurs are yet to sign any players this summer.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Danny Murphy has told TalkSPORT that he believes Wilfried Zaha and Anthony Martial would get into Mauricio Pochettino's side with ease.

The Sun have reported that Tottenham could still make a late move for Ivory Coast international Zaha, who has also drawn interest from Chelsea and is believed to be valued at the £70million mark.

The Sun also reported towards the end of July that French attacker Martial is looking to leave Manchester United, but wants to remain in the Premier League - with Spurs the likeliest of ventures.

Though a move for either star seems hugely unlikely before Thursday's 5pm deadline, Murphy believes both players would get into Pochettino's side and be able to improve the north Londoners greatly.

“You’ve got to buy some real quality to get in that Tottenham first XI," Murphy said. “Would Zaha or Martial make a difference for Tottenham? Yes, of course they would, they are top quality players who would add something to their team."

Spurs already boast a number of options in the wide areas, including Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Son Heung-Min and Moussa Sissoko - while Georges-Kevin N'Koudou mightily impressed on the club's tour of America.

It remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy will finally lure a player to Spurs in the remaining two days of the window, but it seems more and more unlikely that the north Londoners will appease their fans.
