Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza could reportedly leave the Super Lig for the Premier League with Crystal Palace in negotiations.

Josef de Souza is not a Crystal Palace player just yet despite reports from Haber7 on Monday saying that they had agreed a deal with Fenerbahce to sign the Brazilian midfielder.
Roy Hodgson’s Eagles have made reinforcing their midfield a top priority after seeing both Yohan Cabaye and Ruben Loftus-Cheek depart Selhurst Park at the end of last season. Max Meyer is expected to arrive on a free, as reported by The Guardian, with Souza also heavily linked with a move to England.
And latest reports from Takvim are stating that Palace are indeed in negotiations with Fenerbahce to sign the 29-year-old, who has represented Brazil three times at international level.
It is understood that the 2018 Super Lig runners-up have demanded £15 million from their Premier League counterparts with new manager Phillip Cocu, who led PSV to the Eredivisie title last season, willing to sell.

So far, Palace have offered around £12 million so would not have to raise their bid by a huge amount in order to come to an agreement with Fener.
Souza is a deep-lying midfielder renowned for putting out fires and starting attacks from the back. He started 32 Super Lig games last season and moved to Istanbul in 2015 from Sao Paulo in his homeland.
