The Ibrox club have reportedly backed out after the 21-year-old underwent a medical.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers were ready to offer the youngster - who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder - a three-year contract worth £2.5 million in wages and signing-on fee.
It is quite interesting and perhaps even strange that Rangers have reportedly abandoned their interest in Bryan after a medical.
Was there any issue with the former England Under-20 international defender’s medical? Was there any last-minute disagreement over wages?
It will be interesting to see what Rangers now do in terms of signing a left-sided central defender.
The Gers do not actually need another central defender as they do have enough in that particular department.
