Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are reportedly set to sign Kean Bryan from Premier League champions Manchester City.

If Kean Bryan does as well at Rangers as he did during a loan spell at Oldham Athletic last season, we could be looking back on this deal as one of the best in Scotland this time next year.
According to the Scottish Sun on Thursday, Rangers are close to making the 21-year-old Manchester City youngster their eleventh signing of a busy summer. It is expected that Bryan will sign a three-year deal worth around £2.5 million.
And, although coy, manager Steven Gerrard confirmed after the narrow 1-0 Europa League qualifying first-leg win in Osijek that he is indeed keen to sign the versatile centre-back.
“I’ve got nothing to say on it at the moment because he’s not our player, but there is an interest,” he told the Daily Record.

But what can Rangers fans expect from a player who has not made a single first-team appearance in the colours of Manchester City? Well, Oldham fans are the right people to ask.
The Latics were relegated from League One last season but the fans’ memories of Bryan remain untainted. He made 32 appearances for Oldham, scored two excellent goals and ended the campaign as their Young Player of the Year.
If Bryan can replicate this impact at Ibrox, he could be a big success.
