The new Rangers recruits made their first starts for the Ibrox outfit, now managed by their former colleague Steven Gerrard.
And the pair helped Rangers to a 1-0 win over NK Osijek in the Europa League's second qualifying round, with Alfredo Morelos grabbing the Gers a vital away goal.
Kent's appearance in Croatia was his first since signing moving to Ibrox earlier this week, while Ejaria had appeared as a substitute in each of Rangers' previous two qualifiers.
But what did Rangers fans make of the Liverpool youngsters' showings? This is what some of them are saying on Twitter, both separately and individually...
Good result tonight but should have played Candeias down the right, not convinced Kent or Ejaria brought anything to the team— Maverick_1969 (@Walter_Mather) 26 July 2018
Impressed with coulibaly, Kent and ejaria tonight. Flanagan and tav weren’t the best though ⚪️— luke (@southernbear90) 26 July 2018
Kent= industrious and confident but poor decision making in final 3rd.— Brownie (@OzRNGR) 26 July 2018
Big Lass= doing big lass things. Snapped into tackles, decent touch, faded 2nd half
Ejaria= what I expected from an inexperienced youngster. Struggled for any meaningful ball. Impact player off bench for me
Coulibaly played well tonight. Needs more time with the team though.— Lien Micheal Mols Naelcm (@LienNaelcm) 26 July 2018
Kent had the desire. Tried to hard on occasions. He'll settle down.
Ejaria had a good game too. He clossed down the ball with intent. As did all the team.
El Buffalo was outstanding. McGregor, Goldson also.
3/ Kent - good performance, direct, defensively hard working too— #DoYourJob (@gordyb1872) 27 July 2018
Ejaria - worked hard, good on ball
Alfie - really good performance, good goal, good hold up play, worked his socks off
Midfield played well. Kent looks good the big guy in the middle looks good. Cousiably or however you spell his name. Other boy from Liverpool played decent. Rangers teams of recent years wouldn’t have held onto that result. Now home and hopefully finish the tie off.— Kenny (@kenny0785) 26 July 2018
Very impressed with the new boys. Gerrard called Coulibaly a machine in the middle of the park. He was exactly that tonight. Kent MOTM for me. Ejaria looks v cool on the ball. Well done to the Famous. Finish the tie off next week at Ibrox!— Liam (@Liamwatp) 26 July 2018
I’d probably still pick Windass over Ejaria tbh!— Darren Armour (@DarrenArmour1) 26 July 2018
Brilliant Rangers. Morelos outstanding. Kent looks good and a clean sheet. Play up the Glasgow Rangers #WATP— Iain Glen (@glen1873) 26 July 2018
Morelos was back to his best tonight and Ryan Kent looks a player! #Rangers— John (@neeson_1) 26 July 2018
Well done Rangers I thought Ryan Kent was top drawer !!— Richard McFetridge (@ricardomcfetri) 26 July 2018
Great performance from Rangers tonight. Looks like we are no longer scared of corners & McGregor will be worth an extra 10 points a season. Coulibaly & Clark Kent look class. Goldson, Katic & Flanagan need to work on their passing though..— K918 (@minniedogg) 26 July 2018
Brilliant result Rangers, I think Ryan Kent looks the part and well done Morelos for turning up and actually trying for once— Sons of William F.C (@geodev_rfc) 26 July 2018
Ryan Kent looks a player, thought we didn’t get him on ball nearly enough last night when he was in so much space but he’s not afraid to do ugly stuff. Tracked back and made a few tackles. Looks like McKay but with heart.— Chris McLaughlin (@Chr1sMcLaughlin) 27 July 2018
Good win for Rangers. Ryan kent and coulibaly were very impressive— William Cope (@wully1872) 27 July 2018
RYAN KENT— Dexter Morgan (@Scottydoggiom) 26 July 2018
Ejaria relly impressed me with his physicality in midfield tonight. Looks like the type of player to be bullied off the ball easily but he’s shown that he’s got a bit of strength to him.— big mad andy (@vlxdtheimpalah) 26 July 2018
Well played Ovie Ejaria that was a good performance— FiveStar (@BritishSeahawk) 26 July 2018
Can tell he’s not the finished article, but looks pretty good on the ball— Andy kilpatrick (@andykilpatrick1) 26 July 2018
Not seen anything to impress me yet— Will Robbo (@wullieboy78) 26 July 2018
Ejaria can’t pass forward, felt like he was scared tonight— Joe (@1872joe) 26 July 2018
If we can get the right balance in our midfield with the players we have then we could be on to something.— Andy McKellar (@AMcKellar89) 27 July 2018
Hoped Ejaria would add some creativity but didn’t really materialise last night. Maybe something we still lack.
Ejaria- average at most and this will ruffle some feathers but I’d have liked to see @WindassJnr in that position— Ryan wood (@wood_ryan85) 26 July 2018
Both Kent and Ejaria are on long-term contracts at Liverpool, whose youth system they progressed through.
And a good season at Rangers - where their ex-Reds colleagues Jordan Rossiter, Jon Flanagan, Gary McAllister, Michael Beale, Tom Culshaw, Jordan Milsom and Gerrard are also employed - could see the pair force their way into Jurgen Klopp's plans for the 2019/20 season.
What did you make of the Liverpool duo's displays for Rangers?
