Leeds United are reportedly closing in on Wolves defender Barry Douglas.

Leeds United may have had a quiet transfer window so far, but they look to be closing in on a major coup ahead of the start of the new Championship season.
The Whites have so far managed to bring in Chelsea duo Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker on loan for the season, despite many believing that new manager Marcelo Bielsa would be backed heavily in the transfer market.
Despite tying Tom Pearce down to a new contract, Leeds have been in the market for another left back this summer, with January signing Laurens De Bock already primed for the exit.
On Wednesday, reports broke that Leeds were in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers about a deal for left back Barry Douglas, and the Daily Mail report that personal terms have now been agreed with the Scot.
Sky Sports claim that the fee involved is £3million, and Douglas appears to be on the verge of completing a move to Elland Road ahead of Leeds’ opening game against Stoke City next week.
Douglas, 28, joined Wolves from Turkish side Konyaspor last summer, and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League with five goals and 14 assists, proving to be a deadly set-piece specialist.

Now, Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to admit that they’re gutted to see Douglas leave having become a popular figure at Molineux over the last year, but many feel that he may not have been quite good enough for the Premier League anyway.
Leeds fans are excited about the deal, suggesting that Douglas is a bargain, a signal of intent and a sensational signing, hailing his imminent arrival as one of the signings of the summer.
