Leeds United have made several alternations from the previous campaign.

Seven senior Leeds United players have been left without squad numbers ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Neither Vurnon Anita, Ouasim Bouy, Eunan O’Kane, Yosuke Ideguchi, Luke Murphy, Hadi Sacko nor Caleb Ekuban are named on Leeds’ updated list, which sees several changes from the previous campaign.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (30 to 1), Ronaldo Vieira (25 to 8) and Tyler Roberts (27 to 11) are perhaps the most significant of those, with Samu Saiz (21 to 14) and Tom Pearce (46 to 20) the other big movers.

New signings Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker have been given numbers 27 and 34 respectively, with 3, 5 and 9 the main ones still available for new signings.

Youngsters Ryan Edmondson (53 to 39), Jamie Shackleton (54 to 46) and Jordan Stevens (56 to 48) have also switched digits.

New boss Marcelo Bielsa said a month ago that Leeds’ first team squad was around 15 players too heavy, although the Whites have since offloaded nine players on either permanent or loan deals.
