Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri by Liverpool from Stoke City.

Liverpool have secured the services of Shaqiri from Championship club Stoke in the summer transfer window.

According to BBC Sport, the Reds had to pay the Potters a transfer fee of £13 million in order to secure the services of the 26-year-old winger.

The signing of Shaqiri is Liverpool’s second major of the summer, with the Reds having already secure the services of midfielder Fabinho from AS Monaco.

The Premier League club will also be able to count on Baby Keita next season, after the midfielder stayed at RB Leipzig during the 2017-19 campaign.

United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Liverpool bringing Shaqiri from Stoke - they seem disappointed that the Red Devils did not go for the Switzerland international, and believe that the former Bayern Munich winger is a bargain signing for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
