HITC Sport understands a number of clubs are chasing Blackburn midfielder Willem Tomlinson on loan.
Blackburn Rovers midfielder Willem Tomlinson is a loan target for a number of League One and League Two clubs, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
League One new boys Accrington and League Two duo Morecambe and Macclesfield Town have expressed an interest in taking the highly-rated Tomlinson on loan for next season.
Tomlinson, who has come through the ranks at Blackburn, is highly-regarded at Ewood Park after making his first-team debut in an FA Cup tie with Manchester United in February 2017.
The all-action midfielder made seven appearances in all competitions for Blackburn last season, but has yet to start a league game for Rovers.
Tomlinson is likely to find himself on the fringes of the first-team next season as Blackburn prepare for life back in the Championship by strengthening the squad and several clubs have made enquiries about his availability.
The 20-year-old scored for Blackburn in their pre-season win at Hibernian last week, but the club are open to the idea of Tomlinson going out on loan next season so that he can continue his development by playing regular first-team football.
Accrington, Morecambe and Macclesfield are all now battling it out to secure Tomlinson on loan for next season.
