Liverpool fans have their say on Tottenham Hotspur striker’s performance.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane fell short for England against Croatia as the Three Lions crashed out.

Kane and England were outplayed in the World Cup semi-final, losing 2-1 after extra time.

The Spurs striker went up against Liverpool rival Dejan Lovren, who he had previously enjoyed success against.

Last night Lovren came out on top, and secured a mental edge over the Tottenham striker for future match-ups.

Some Liverpool fans found themselves watching with split loyalties, pleased to see Lovren do well, and having hevaily criticised Kane for much of 2018.

Why you'd be foolish to write Celtic off next season

Kane is on course to win the World Cup golden boot with six goals, but only one came in three knockout matches.

There was criticism of Kane after the performance from some, feeling he was too selfish and should have played one pass across to Raheem Sterling instead of shooting at goal.

With England knocked out, tribal club rivalries quickly resumed. Here is a look at the reaction from Reds fans to Kane’s performance…
