Liverpool fans have their say on Tottenham Hotspur striker's performance.
Kane and England were outplayed in the World Cup semi-final, losing 2-1 after extra time.
The Spurs striker went up against Liverpool rival Dejan Lovren, who he had previously enjoyed success against.
Last night Lovren came out on top, and secured a mental edge over the Tottenham striker for future match-ups.
Some Liverpool fans found themselves watching with split loyalties, pleased to see Lovren do well, and having hevaily criticised Kane for much of 2018.
Kane is on course to win the World Cup golden boot with six goals, but only one came in three knockout matches.
There was criticism of Kane after the performance from some, feeling he was too selfish and should have played one pass across to Raheem Sterling instead of shooting at goal.
With England knocked out, tribal club rivalries quickly resumed. Here is a look at the reaction from Reds fans to Kane's performance...
Kane selfish when it really mattered?— mainstand red (@mainstandred) July 12, 2018
Who would have guessed that might have happened?? #lfc
Easy to say now but Kane was completely the wrong choice for captain. Great goal scorer but always looks for personal glory over the good of the team. Hendo for me all day long #LFC— Mark G (@markshark1122) July 11, 2018
Kane should of squared it to sterling unfortunately obsessed with golden boot like in prem that and stones switching off is what cost England in the end these are my findings, now looking forward to #LFC once again— the4thofficialz (@the4thofficialz) July 12, 2018
