Rangers face Shkupi at Ibrox in Steven Gerrard's first game in charge.
STV have claimed that Rangers will be without new signings Umar Sadiq and Lassana Coulibaly on Thursday night as Steven Gerrard takes to the Ibrox dugout for the first time on a competitive basis.
Gerrard, 38, has included seven signings in his squad to face FK Shkupi in the first round of Europa League qualifying, in the form of Allan McGregor, Jon Flanagan, Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson, Scott Arfield, Jamie Murphy and Ovie Ejaria.
The former Liverpool and England captain had been hoping to include all nine of his summer signings in the squad, as the Gers look to take a first-leg advantage to Macedonia next week.
The Gers completed season-long loan moves for Roma target man Sadiq and Angers playmaker Coulibaly earlier this week, but the moves were too late to register the players in time for Thursday night's clash.
It leaves Gerrard with only Alfredo Morelos to choose from as a recognised striker, after leaving Eduardo Herrera out of the side as well as Fabio Cardoso and Harry Forrester. Lee Wallace is injured, while Bruno Alves has been removed.
The Portuguese veteran has completed a move to Serie A side Parma, after his contract was terminated by the Scottish giants in order to complete a move - he had 12 months remaining on his original deal.
