As announced on West Ham’s official website on Monday, Wilshere has signed for the Hammers on a free transfer.
The England international midfielder was a free agent following his departure from North London outfit Arsenal earlier this summer.
Parlour, who started his professional club football career at Arsenal before going on to play for Middlesbrough and Hull City, has given his verdict on the 26-year-old’s move to West Ham.
The former England international midfielder believes that the 26-year-old is a great signing for West Ham.
Haris Seferovic future
Meanwhile, reported West Ham target Haris Seferovic has said that he will make a decision on his future only after his holiday.
The 26-year-old forward is on the books of Portuguese giants Benfica at the moment and was part of the Switzerland national football team that reached the last-16 of the World Cup in Russia.
Football.London quotes Seferovic as saying: "Now I'm going on holiday and only then will I see what can happen. I need to have a clear head to make a decision."
