Sunderland reportedly want Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings.
Jason Cummings with James Tavernier at Rangers
Much was expected of Jason Cummings when he joined Rangers on loan from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window, but the former Hibernian striker did not have a great time at Ibrox.
Cummings scored just two goals in 15 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers, according to Transfermarkt.com.

The 22-year-old striker failed to make a massive impact at Forest in the first half of last season following his move from Hibernian in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Nottingham Post to be worth £1 million, as he scored only one goal in 600 Championship minutes for the Reds, as reported on WhoScored.

Sunderland interest
Sunderland, though, are reportedly keen on Cummings despite his disappointing record for Forest and Rangers during the 2017-18 campaign.
According to The Northern Echo, the Scotland international striker is on the radar of the Black Cats, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship.

Forest manager Aitor Karanka is reportedly willing to sell the former Hibernian star, who is claimed to have been targeted by David Moyes when he was in charge of Sunderland.
Good signing
Cummings may have struggled in the Championship, but the Scotland international would be a success in League One for Sunderland.
