Glasgow Rangers defender Lee Hodson could be on his way out of Ibrox this summer, with a loan offer potentially on the cards.

The 26-year-old has endured a frustrating spell since arriving at Ibrox in 2016 when Mark Warburton was in charge of the Gers. He has been unable to push ahead of James Tavernier in the pecking order, and has made just 27 appearances for the Light Blues in all competitions across his two campaigns with the club.

He has certainly been considered as an understudy for both full-backs, but nevertheless, he has come in for a lot of criticism from the fans during his time with Rangers, with many feel that the Northern Ireland international has not been good enough to even take on that role.
And those who are perhaps keep to see him leave may be about to get their wish. The Scottish Sun reports that Hodson may be about to follow Bruno Alves – who is looking set to join Parma this summer – out of the door with Rotherham interested in the former Watford ace.

The newly-promoted Championship side are reportedly keen to land Hodson on loan this summer. And it would certainly be little surprise if Steven Gerrard was seriously considering letting the defender leave.
Jon Flanagan has already arrived during this window, and like Hodson, the former Liverpool ace is capable of playing on either flank, so it may well end up being an incredibly frustrating campaign for the Millers target if he sticks around.
