Middlesbrough, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers could pounce after the midfielder’s West Bromwich Albion contract expired last month.

Middlesbrough are again being linked with a move for James Morrison, although Derby County and Blackburn Rovers are also interested in the West Bromwich Albion midfielder according to Sky Sports (liveblog entry 09:55).
Teamtalk reported earlier this year that Morrison, who began his career at Middlesbrough, was a summer target for Boro manager Tony Pulis, under whom he played at West Brom.

And Sky Sports claim the Welshman is still keen after Morrison’s Baggies contract expired at the end of last month.
The Scotland international is still said to be training with the west Midlands outfit, although Middlesbrough, Derby and Blackburn are free to approach him should they wish to do so.

Morrison also played under Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray at the Hawthorns, and against Frank Lampard, Mowbray’s Derby counterpart, countless times in the Premier League.
Middlesbrough, Derby, Blackburn, West Brom or other – where do you think will Morrison end the summer transfer window?
