A number of Leeds United fans are extremely concerned by reports suggesting that West Bromwich Albion now lead the race to sign Kyle Bartley.

A number of Leeds supporters have taken to Twitter to express their dismay amid reports from The Sun on Sunday (01/07; page 59) which suggested that West Brom have joined the race to sign Kyle Bartley and the Baggies have now moved to the front of the queue in the battle for his signature.
Bartley has been a player that many Leeds fans have wanted for well over a year. A superb loan spell during the 2016/17 season was not followed up and the Whites’ defence looked incredibly vulnerable in his absence.

It had appeared that Leeds fans’ prayers would be answered this summer with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting back in April that the Championship side were already in discussions with Swansea City about a potential move for the defender.

Unsurprisingly, the reports have not gone down at all well with a large section of the Leeds fanbase on social media. The early signs had hinted that the Whites could be working on a deal that the fans have wanted for more than a year, and they are now extremely concerned that a move elsewhere may be on the cards.
The supporters have urged the club hierarchy to get their act together and make sure that they now do all they can to make sure that Bartley does not make the move to The Hawthorns this summer as he could be a major addition to the Leeds side.
