Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton want Stefano Sturaro, says his agent.

Stefano Sturaro is a player in demand, with Newcastle United, West Ham United and Leicester City all reportedly interested in the Juventus midfielder, and now his agent has claimed of interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.

According to Tuttosport, Everton and West Ham are interested in securing the services of Sturaro in the summer transfer window, while talkSPORT has credited Leicester and Newcastle with interest in the Italy international.

Newcastle, West Ham, Leicester and Everton, though, are not the only clubs from England who are claimed to want the 25-year-old former Genoa midfielder, as his agent has stated that Premier League duo Wolves and Southampton want him as well.

Sturaro’s agent, Carlo Volpi, has been quoted as saying by Ilbianconero, as translated by The Birmingham Mail: “Not just Newcastle on him, but other clubs as well. Who? Ah, you know, for sure, Wolverhampton and Southampton have had a little thought.”

It seems that Newcastle are indeed keen on Sturaro, who would be a brilliant signing for Rafael Benitez’s side, but with Wolves and Southampton also confirmed to be in the mix, there appears to be a lot of competition for the signature of the Juventus midfielder.

Sturaro has won Serie A and the Coppa Italia four times each at Juventus so far.
