Southampton and West Ham United reportedly want Marlon Santos of Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Southampton and Barcelona have agreed a fee of £10 million regarding the transfer fee of Santos this summer.
West Ham United miss out?
The report in The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 19:56, Sunday, July 1, 2018) claims of West Ham’s interest in Santos.

However, with the Saints reportedly agreeing a deal with Barcelona, it seems that the Hammers are set to miss out on the former Brazil Under-20 international centre-back.
Risky signing?
Santos is talented, which is why Barcelona signed him from Fluminense in the first place, but the 22-year-old has yet to prove himself in Europe.

The youngster has failed to establish himself in the Barcelona first team and spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at French club Nice.
The 22-year-old Brazilian was supposed to be on loan at the Ligue 1 outfit for the 2018-19 campaign, too, but new Nice manager Patrick Vieira decided not to retain his services.
