Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Federico Fazio for Argentina against France.
Former Tottenham defender Fazio featured for Argentina in their last-16 tie against France at the 2018 World Cup in Russia on Saturday afternoon.
The 31-year-old central defender did not start the match, but the AS Roma man came on as a substitute at half time, as the South American giants lost 4-3.
Fazio joined Tottenham from Spanish club Sevilla in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £8 million.
Much was expected of the Argentina international, but the central defender struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane.
The 31-year-old had loan spells at Sevilla and Roma before he joined the Italian club on a permanent contract in the summer of 2017.

Fazio's turned into a good defender but it doesn't change the fact that he's one of the slowest players in the world, Mbappe field day this half— mbappe_fan99 (@thfcAlex10) June 30, 2018
Doing well at Roma apparently. Looks like a great league.— Andy Kempton (@andykempton) June 30, 2018

I actually wondered if they were going to sub Fazio out, after having subbed him on. Total pants.— thfc-kzoo (@keithwikle) June 30, 2018
