Donald has also stated that Sunderland, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship, have not accepted any bid for the 27-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
According to The Chronicle, Rennes, Marseille, Lyon and AS Roma are all interested in signing the Tunisia international from Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
Khazri has been on the books of Sunderland since January 2016 when he joined from French side Bordeaux for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £12 million.
While responding to a Sunderland fan about the future of Khazri, Donald wrote on Twitter: “We haven’t accepted any offers on Khazri. Turned a few down though!!”
Is this fact or a rumour lads?— Shane Hagan (@shanehagan22) June 28, 2018
Khazri is a brilliant attacking midfielder, and it is hard to see the Tunisia international, who featured at the World Cup in Russia, play in League One next season.
It is very likely that the former Bordeaux star will leave Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
