HITC Sport understands Derby and Bristol City have made offers for Peterborough star.

Derby County and Bristol City have made bids for in-demand Peterborough United striker Jack Marriott, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Marriott’s future has been the subject of intense speculation all summer with a host of clubs chasing last season’s League One Golden Boot winner.
The 23-year-old scored 33 goals in all competitions last season for Peterborough to establish himself as one of the best strikers in the Football League.

The likes of Nottingham Forest and Leeds have been strongly linked with Marriott this summer, but now Derby and Bristol City have enterted the race for the prolific forward.
New Derby boss Frank Lampard is keen to bolster his side’s attacking options as he looks to build a side capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League next season and Marriott is among his top targets.

Bristol City are in the market for striking reinforcements having sold Bobby Reid to Cardiff and they have money from his sale to test Peterborough’s resolve over Marriott.
Peterborough are prepared to cash in on Marriott, but are understood to be holding for a fee in the region of £7million for the former Ipswich and Luton Town forward.
