West Bromwich Albion are reportedly ready to consider a bid for Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons this summer.

West Brom are preparing for life in the Championship but Darren Moore is yet to get a signing into The Hawthorns so far, and the Mirror reports that he had been hoping to sign Bobby Reid from Bristol City.

However, the Mirror adds that Reid is Cardiff City bound for £10 million and Moore is about to be dealt a further blow in regards to his attacking options, with reports suggesting that McClean is set to join their second tier rivals Stoke.
But the Baggies have a contingency plan in place, with the Daily Mirror (27/06; 15:02) reporting that Newcastle youngster Aarons is a player that Moore is keen on and is considering bidding for.
For a long time, Aarons appeared to be one of the brightest prospects in the Magpies’ ranks at St James’ Park and has got the chance to make a handful of appearances in the club’s first-team. However, he appears to have lost his way somewhat in more recent times, and he was allowed to join Hellas Verona on loan in January.

His time in Italy was not particularly impressive and he returned to Tyneside having failed to contribute a goal or assist in 11 Serie A appearances while Verona were relegated from the top flight.
But Moore may feel that if he can get him back on track, any deal could turn into a fantastic one for the Baggies.
