Fulham have reportedly failed with a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Ivan Cavaleiro.

According to Sky Sports, Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected a £12million bid from Fulham for winger Ivan Cavaleiro.
Cavaleiro, 24, had spells with Benfica, Deportivo La Coruna and Monaco before Jorge Mendes facilitated a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2016.
The winger hit five goals in his first season with Wolves, but played a huge part in the club’s promotion to the Premier League last season, notching nine goals and 12 assists in a promotion-winning campaign.

Cavaleiro has been expected to feature in the Premier League for Wolves, and after links to Huddersfield Town earlier this month, new links are emerging with a Premier League rival.
Sky Sports report that Fulham – promoted alongside Wolves – have offered £12million for Cavaleiro, but Wolves have snubbed their offer as they look to keep the Portuguese ace at Molineux.
Fulham are searching for another winger to play on the opposite flank to Ryan Sessegnon, with manager Slavisa Jokanovic seemingly keen to lure Cavaleiro to West London this summer.

However, Wolves seemingly have plans to keep Cavaleiro amongst their attacking options, which include compatriots Diogo Jota and Helder Costa.
It remains to be seen whether Fulham return with another bid, but it seems that Wolves are prepared to stand firm and keep their pacey winger at the club ahead of their Premier League return.
