Southampton want to secure the services of Mohamed Elyounoussi from FC Basel ahead of Premier League rivals Leicester City in a £16 million deal, according to The Daily Star.

According to the report, Southampton are offering Elyounoussi a four-year deal worth a total of £8m plus bonuses.
