It has been reported that Saints manager Mark Hughes have made his move for the 23-year-old Norway international, who can operate as a forward or as a winger.

Quality footballer
Elyounoussi is a very talented and promising young attacker who would be a good signing for Southampton.
The Basel star played well against Premier League champions Manchester City in the Champions League last season.

Given that the Norwegian is just 23 years of age, he is certain to improve and develop further in the coming years.
With Southampton having (reportedly) made their move for Elyounoussi, it now remains to be seen what their Premier League rivals Leicester do.
Will the Foxes make an offer of their own?
