Leeds United reportedly want Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Bielsa, who has replaced Paul Heckingbottom as the Leeds head coach, prefers another striker who would fit his 3-3-3-1 formation and does not think that Mbakogu is that man.

The report has also claimed that there is a June 30 deadline for the transfer to go through.

Will Jerry Mbakogu be at Leeds United next season?
Mbakogu is a good striker and the 25-year-old would be a good signing to the current Leeds team, but if Bielsa has doubts, then maybe Leeds should not move ahead with the transfer.

With a (reported) deadline of June 30, time does seem to be running out for the Whites, but it would not make sense to spend £3m on a striker that the head coach is fully sure about.
Leeds have a transfer budget of £20m, according to The Mirror, and £3m is quite a bit of money.
