According to TV Qui, Leeds United and Carpi have an agreement over the transfer of Jerry Mbakogu for €3.5 million (£3.08m), but new head coach Marcelo Bielsa has reservations about the striker.

With a (reported) deadline of June 30, time does seem to be running out for the Whites, but it would not make sense to spend £3m on a striker that the head coach is fully sure about.

Leeds have a transfer budget of £20m, according to The Mirror, and £3m is quite a bit of money.
