Manchester City starlet Brahim Diaz needs a chance to show what he can do – could Marcelo Bielsa convince Pep Guardiola to let him join Leeds United?

Marcelo Bielsa’s relationship with Pep Guardiola could open a few doors for Leeds United?
So, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Guardiola’s admiration for the veteran Argentine could help Leeds set up a link with Manchester City. It is understood that Leeds’ hopes of landing goalkeeper Angus Gunn on loan from the Premier League champions have been boosted by Bielsa’s arrival.

But Gunn is not the only Etihad starlet that Leeds should be looking at. How about Brahim Diaz, the dazzling attacking talent who seemingly needs a loan move away from City after another year in the reserves.
The Sun claimed recently that West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini was hoping to get a favour off his former employers and sign Diaz on loan. And Leeds could do a lot worse than to make a similar enquiry.
18-year-old Diaz is one of the biggest attacking talents in European football, compared by his fellow Manchester City youngster Ed Francis to Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard and David Silva. Fine praise indeed.

A move to Leeds would give Diaz the chance to get some senior football under his belt and, in truth, the diminutive Spaniard would probably be the most naturally gifted player at Elland Road.
Bielsa opens plenty of doors – it’s time for Leeds to walk through.
