Jürgen Klopp is determined to strengthen his goalkeeping ranks at Liverpool this summer.
According to German media outlet Bild, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bundesliga duo Yann Sommer and Jiri Pavlenka, as Jürgen Klopp continues his search for a top class goalkeeper.
The German has already spent heavily this summer, bringing in midfield duo Fabinho and Naby Keita, but the addition of a top class goalkeeper will be vital to their hopes of winning the Premier League title.
Bild claims that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Borussia Monchengladbach's Yann Sommer and Werder Bremen stopper Jiri Pavlenka.
Sommer, 29, is the more experienced out of the two, and has performed to an incredibly high standard since moving to Germany from Basel in the summer of 2014.
He has chalked up 48 clean sheets for Monchengladbach during that time, and he would surely be an upgrade on both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet at Anfield.
Pavlenka, meanwhile, is an equally impressive 'keeper, but at 6ft 5in tall, he is arguably a more imposing figure between the sticks than Sommer.
The 26-year-old kept 10 clean sheets in 38 outings for Bremen last season, and he is still at an age where he will surely improve further still.
Either one of the two Bundesliga stoppers would represent a solid acquisition for Liverpool, but don't rule out Klopp signing both players, and getting rid of Mignolet and Karius in the process.
