Southampton winger Dusan Tadic starred as Serbia got their World Cup campaign off to a positive start.

Tadic was a constant threat for the Serbs as they earned a 1-0 win over a competitive Costa Rica side.

Tadic, 29, came into the tournament after an inconsistent season, but one he finished strongly, providing three assists in his final seven games.

He played 83 minutes against Costa Rica, shining alongside highly rated Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Tadic created one chance, and also worked hard defensively, making four tackles and one interception.
