Leeds United and Ipswich Town reportedly want Jon Nolan.

Leeds United, Norwich City, Sheffield United and Sunderland were linked with Jon Nolan back in March, and now Ipswich Town are reportedly to have joined the race for the Shrewsbury Town midfielder.

The Mirror (print edition, page 47, March 19, 2018) claimed of Championship trio Leeds, Norwich City and Sheffield United’s interest in Nolan (click here to read more), while The Shropshire Star reported that Sunderland wanted the 26-year-old midfielder.

With the Black Cats having been relegated to League One, it is hard to see them compete with the likes of Leeds and Norwich for the services of the former Chesterfield star.

However, Ipswich may have an advantage over Leeds, Canaries and the Blades, with the Tractor Boys now reported to have joined the race for the midfielder.

According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, June 17, 2018), new Ipswich manager Paul Hurst wants to sign Nolan.

Hurst was in charge of Shrewsbury from 2016 and 2018 and worked with the 26-year-old, and that could give him an advantage.
