Abraham’s Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek spent last season at Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace have expressed an interest in signing Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, according to the Guardian.
It is claimed that Palace want to take the striker on a season-long loan deal, as they did with Abraham’s Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek last term – to much success.
However, the report adds that it is unclear whether the 20-year-old would consider another temporary switch, having spent the past two campaigns at Bristol City and Swansea City respectively.
News of Crystal Palace’s alleged interest in Abraham follows reports that Eagles striker Christian Benteke is wanted by Hebei China Fortune, the new employers of former Selhurst Park defender Chris Coleman.

Were Palace to succeed in their pursuit of Abraham, they would not be able to take any other Chelsea player on loan whilst he is at the club, as per Premier League rules.
That would eliminate the possibility of an immediate return to Croydon for Loftus-Cheek, unless a permanent deal can be arranged.
The 22-year-old is currently with England at the 2018 World Cup.
