Stan Collymore has urged Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Sports have suggested that Spurs have submitted a £15 million offer for Grealish, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to add the playmaker to his squad.

And Collymore has encouraged Grealish to leave Villa and seize his opportunity at Spurs.

Collymore is a Villa fan, so his comments on Grealish come as a somewhat of a surprise.

Villa’s team will be significantly weakened by the departure of Grealish, if he does depart this summer.

The claret and blues could be forced to sell though, as Grealish is clearly the most valuable player in their current squad.

Jack Grealish of Aston Villa looks on during the Barclays Premier League match between Aston Villa and Arsenal at Villa Park on December 13, 2015 in Birmingham, England.

The attacking midfielder was crucial to Steve Bruce’s side’s attacking play last season, with most their offensive moves going through him.

At Spurs, Grealish would have plenty of competition for a first-team place, with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen already at the club.
