According to a report from Sky Sports, West Ham and Everton are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Mario Götze this summer.
The 26-year-old rejoined Dortmund from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £22 million, but his stock within the game has failed dramatically since he scored Germany's winning goal in the World Cup final in 2014.
That is not to say that he hasn't still got a lot to offer at the very highest level, though, and there were signs last season that he is returning to somewhere near his best.
He chalked up two goals and seven assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund, and showed glimpses of his best form for the Bundesliga outfit.
Sky Sports claim that both West Ham and Everton are keen on bringing the German World Cup winner to the Premier League this summer, and Dortmund could be tempted into doing business, should they receive an acceptable offer.
