'Just leave', 'Glad he's going': Some Arsenal fans want Jack Wilshere gone

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere's future at the Emirates is uncertain to say the least, with his contract set to expire on June 30th, and some Gunners fans want him gone.

The 26-year-old has spent his entire career with Arsenal, but his progress has been hampered by consistent injury problems, and the north London outfit are reluctant to offer him a new long-term deal because of those problems.

Wilshere did find a certain level of consistency last season, however, making 38 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.

Unai Emery will be keen to instil more energy and durability into his Arsenal side this season, and it is unclear as to whether Wilshere fits that criteria.

One thing is for sure, if the 26-year-old fails to agree terms on a new deal with Arsenal and is subsequently available on a free transfer this summer, there will be no shortage of potential suitors for his signature.

Wilshere has always been a fan favourite at the Emirates, so it may come as somewhat of a surprise that some Gunners fans will be pleased to see the back of the midfielder...
